The color challenge works like this:
** CREATE A LAYOUT or a QP, Stacked Paper or Cluster -- use the mini kit I created or any kit in the
chosen palette (be sure if you are creating with someone else's kit that they allow for freebies if you
do a QP, Stacked Paper or Cluster)

** CREATE A MINI KIT from the palette to share with us (please put the download link in your gallery

December Less Is More Challenge
Most of you know how this challenge works, but for any newcomers - the premise of this challenge is to
download this kit and create a LO using ALL of the elements and papers of the kit, leaving nothing out.
Feel free to use your imagination and clip papers, recolour elements or papers. You can add journaling
text or a title, but nothing more. You can duplicate items and use them over again, or clip to shapes that
come native to your program. Be creative! And as always, most important - have FUN!
Mini kit "Holiday Blessings by Studio4 Designworks
December 2013 Photography Challenge
This month I thought that we would try for something a little more abstract. Rather than a certain colour,
or object I would like you to upload a photo which you think best captures the essence of the word
'solitude'.
This is very open to interpretation of course, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what in your thoughts
best illustrates/represents 'solitude'.
It is a photography challenge, so you don't need to do a scrapbook page with it, although of course you can
if you wish.
December Progressive Challenge
Hmmmm, since it is Christmas time... how about reviving the old extra challenge (some of the "veterans"
among you might remember this one)? Here it is: If you use a beach photo in your layout (sand can be
changed easily to snow) you will get an extra prize. 
Last time we had some hilarious pictures of ppl obviously enjoying sitting in the snow wearing nothing
but their bathing suits!
This progressive scrap will go on for eight days. For the first seven days I will give you a download link
with two or three pieces you are required to use according to this day's instructions. You have two days
(Saturday and Sunday) to complete the last step (or catch up) and upload your finished layout.
The first download is free, you will get the others via pm after completion of the day before. You can join
in until Wednesday, but you have to complete the days to get the next download - and your last layout
should be done and posted by Sunday night!
You can recolor and/or crop the pieces or change their opacity but you have to use them as specified in
each day's instructions and once placed are not allowed to move them. Make sure you save your layout
in a .psd format so you are able to place new pieces below others if you should wish to do so.
On Monday night I will post a poll to choose the winner who gets this month's Mega for free!
There will be also another randomly chosen winner, who will get the Mega free, as well. Everybody else
who finished their layout will get a participation prize - a coupon for 1 $ off this Mega.
I will also host a QP exchange for those of you who'd like to gather a great matching QP album!

This month we're going to scrap about Presents! ANY kind! Wrapped, unwrapped, hand made, store bought,
given, taken, offered, made with love, hidden, a lot, a little, some where in the middle!!!! What ever you can
think of! A present for you, a present for him, or her, or them! Just think, Present.

So often we are making pages about others and we forget it is important to preserve who we
are and our dreams, hopes, fears, mistakes. It is okay to be vulnerable because one day your
child, grandchild, family member or friend will see what you faced and not feel so alone.
Create a page about a challenge you have overcome or are working on so as to be a better
person. Include of photo of you...no one else, just you.

December Digi Dish Challenge
For this challenge, you should create a layout using at least the ingredients listed on the recipe. You can then
add your own ingredients to make the layout your own! There is also a "What More?" ingredient and an
"optional" ingredient to add a little more to the recipe.

enough to be used on non-seasonal layouts as well. You can download the font from DaFont

December Progressive Scrap
The object is to complete one page over the course of three weeks by following instructions given in tasks
posted each week. A progressive scrap is a *slow* speed scrap and I know lots of you like speed scraps,
but may not have the time. So here's how it will work.
On the first of each month, Prompt 1 will be posted, consisting of instructions for starting a scrapbook page
that will then be built upon through additional instructions every 3 days.
The idea is to work along with the challenge as the tasks are being announced, each task to be completed
& posted prior to starting on the next prompt. (Once you post a prompt’s results, you’re finished. Don’t
change your work for that particular prompt.)
At the end of the third week, you should have a completed page!
It’s fine to start late or catch up if you miss a prompt. Just be sure to complete & post each task before you
look at or start the next one. It’s more fun that way!
I will be giving you a download that consists of either papers or ellies to work with on each prompt.
By the end of the Challenge, you will have a great little kit that was created by myself - Darlene (Studio4
Designworks) and Dana of Dana's Footprint Designs.
Scraplift Challenge for December
Remember, you can turn it, twist it, or do whatever it takes to make the scraplift your own creation.
The rules for the challenge -

White Space Challenge
So for this month let's make a white space page about trees! It can be any kind of trees! Bare trees, snow covered trees, brilliant colored trees, budding trees - what ever tree you can think of! If you don't have an image for this, well, thats okay - no worries! You know a white space page doesn't really have to have a photo in it right? Maybe a simple quote or song lyric about nature?

Welcome to the November font challenge! I am going to change things up and do something a little
different this month. I hope you will find it a good way to get out of your font "box" and try something new!
Instead of focusing on a specific font to use this month, we are going to try font pairing. Font pairing
looks great on Title/Subtitle combinations, to highlight specific words within your journaling, or can be as
simple as using a different font for your journaling than for your title.
I want you to go to this website and look at the different font combinations they have provided.
Then choose one of the combos to use on your page. All the fonts listed on this site are free. Be sure
to credit all the fonts you choose to use!

1. On the first day of the month we will post Prompt 1. Then, there will be a post every three days with a
new prompt.
2. Add only the items listed in the prompt given. You may add/alter shadows at any time.
3. Once you've posted your layout for that particular prompt, it is done and you may not go back and change
it. You may only build on the previous prompt layout following the new step for the next prompt.
4. We will post the prompts sequentially in the thread. If you have missed a prompt, it’s fine to start late or
catch up. Just be sure to complete & post each task before you look at or start the next one.
5. Post your layouts no later than midnight (EST) of the day before the next step is due - this will be every
three days.
6. Post your layouts in the *Progressive Challenge* gallery HERE.
7. Link your layout back to this forum thread so we can have a look at your creations and leave you some love!
8. In lieu of a posting bonus, by the end of the challenge, you will have yourselves a nice little kit.
9. This challenge counts towards the Scrappping 7 Challenge!
